Elsava er en næsten 25 km lang højre biflod til Main i kommunerne Aschaffenburg og Miltenberg i den bayerske Spessart.
Det oprindelige navn Elsapha stammer fra det oldhøjtyske ord Els for elm og det indoeuropæiske ord Ap – som betyder vand. Som en forklaring hersker der her „et vandløb bestående af elme“. Floden gav kommunen Elsenfeld sit navn. En lignende navneoprindelse har også floden Aschaff, der flyder i nærheden, og Els, der løber i Rhön.
