Kapellen er både en bydel i Moers og som Kapellen-Mitte en af de seks bydele i denne bydel i Kreis Wesel i Nordrhein-Westfalen. Udover Kapellen-Mitte er bydelene Bettenkamp, Holderberg, Achterrathsfeld, Achterrathsheide og Vennikel .
Fra den tidligere selvstændige og typisk niederrheinische landsby Kapellen med landbrugspræg, som senere blev en mineplacering, har stedet ændret sig til en voksende bydel gennem strukturændringer.
