Fra slutningen af det 11. til begyndelsen af det 12. århundrede blev kirken bygget som en tre-skipet, fladtaget søjlebasilika. I midten af det 13. århundrede blev den halvrunde apsis erstattet af en femsidet gotisk korafslutning over en krypta. Kor kvadratet og sidekore var hvælvet, det vestlige portal blev udvidet. I den anden halvdel af det 15. århundrede blev midterskibet hvælvet, og i 1486 blev sakristiet fuldført. Kor kvadratet blev forbundet med sidekore, og sideskibene blev trukket frem til tårnfronten.
