Museet Lüneburg beskæftiger sig med kulturlandskabet i den nedersaksiske hansestad Lüneburg og dens omegn. Der præsenteres udstillinger af naturhistorie, kulturhistorie og arkæologi. Fokus ligger på det 15. og 16. århundrede.
Byggeriet af det første museum for hertugdømmet Lüneburg efter planer af arkitekterne August Friedrich Heithaus og Ferdinand Münzenberger begyndte i 1889, og åbningen fandt sted i 1891. En første udvidelse blev tilføjet i 1908, efterfulgt af en anden i 1913. I 1945, ved afslutningen af Anden Verdenskrig, blev bygningen ødelagt af bomber og genåbnet provisorisk i 1948. Fra 1968 til 1970 blev sydfløjen genopbygget.
