Den evangeliske Mauritius Kirke i Kernen i Remstal ligger i centrum af bydelen Rommelshausen. Den ligger i nærheden af det gamle rådhus og præstegården.
Rommelskirchen var allerede i 1275 en menighedsby, og allerede i 1408 er en kirke vidnet, der er viet til den hellige Mauritius. Tårnkoret, som er den ældste del af den nuværende kirke, blev opført tidligere, formentlig i det 14. århundrede. Med reformationen i hertugdømmet Württemberg i 1534 blev kirken evangelisk.
