SUSE LINUX GmbH er en internationalt aktive softwarevirksomhed med hovedsæde i Nürnberg, hvis hovedprodukter er de navngivne Linux-distributioner samt kundeservice for de samme. Efter flere navneændringer er det igen en selvstændig forretningsenhed, som den svenske finansinvestor EQT Partners købte fra Micro Focus.
I september 1992 grundlagde Roland Dyroff, Burchard Steinbild, Hubert Mantel og Thomas Fehr „Gesellschaft für Software und Systementwicklung mbH“. Navnet S.u.S.E. stod som et akronym for Software- und System-Entwicklung. Det første eget Linux-produkt blev en udvidelse af Linux-distributionen Slackware, som blev leveret på 40 disketter. Virksomheden oversatte distributionen i et samarbejde med Slackware-grundlæggeren Patrick Volkerding til tysk. Kjernen i distributionen forblev dog Slackware, indtil SuSE i maj 1996 udgav den første egen distribution, baseret på Jurix-distributionen af Florian La Roche.
