Treorchy er en by og kommune i Wales. Engang en mineby, bevarer den karakteristikaene fra en. Beliggende i amtets område Rhondda Cynon Taf i Rhondda Fawr-dalen. Treorchy er også en af de 16 kommuner i Rhondda. Det inkluderer landsbyerne Cwmparc og Ynyswen.
Før industrialiseringen var det meste af jorden ejet af en af de store familier i Glamorgan, hvor Treorchy kom under Marquess of Bute Estate. Opdagelsen af kul transformerede området. Perioden efter 1851 så Treorchy blive en industriel by. Byen voksede omkring kulmineindustrien i slutningen af det 19. og begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede, men ved slutningen af det 20. århundrede havde alle de lokale miner lukket, hvilket skabte en økonomisk nedgang i fællesskabet.
