Tintern er en landsby i samfundet Wye Valley, på den vestlige bred af floden Wye i Monmouthshire, Wales, tæt på grænsen til England, cirka 5 miles nord for Chepstow. Den er populær blandt turister, især for landskabet og de ruinerede Tintern Abbey.
Moderne Tintern er dannet gennem sammensmeltningen af to historiske landsbyer; Tintern Parva, der danner den nordlige ende af landsbyen, og Chapel Hill, som danner den sydlige ende. Landsbyen er udnævnt som et bevaringsområde.
