Penrith Station og videre til Great Salkeld, for at tage nordpå på den vestlige side af Eden-dalen via Lazonby før vi svinger sydpå til Appleby via Armathwaite, Kirkoswald, Little Salkeld, Langwathby og Skirwith. Besøg Appleby før du bevæger dig over bakkerne til King's Meaburn, Great Strickland og vender tilbage til Penrith. Knudret, men altid dejlig. Masser af gode pubber og caféer undervejs, men Strickland Arms i Great Strickland anbefales varmt og er meget cykelvenlig.
