Valentia Island er et af Irlands mest vestlige punkter. Det ligger ud for Iveragh-halvøen i sydvestlige County Kerry. Det er forbundet med fastlandet via Maurice O'Neill Memorial Bridge ved Portmagee. En bilfærge sejler også fra Reenard Point til Knightstown, øens hovedbosættelse, fra april til oktober. En anden, mindre landsby ved navn Chapeltown ligger omtrent ved midten af øen, tre kilometer fra broen. Valentia Islands permanente befolkning er 665. Det er omkring 11 kilometer langt og næsten tre kilometer bredt, hvilket gør det til den femte største ø ud for den irske kyst.
