Montepulciano er en by i Toscana, tæt på grænse til Umbrien. Den ligger mellem Pienza og Chiusi og kan nås via en afkørsel fra A1 eller fra Siena via S146. Byen har cirka 14.000 indbyggere.
Fra byens mure og befæstninger er der en smuk udsigt over Umbrien og Sydtoscana. Montepulciano ligger i et vinområde, hvor den kendte Vino-Nobile vin fremstilles. Inden for bymurerne findes mange paladser i renæssancestil. Hovedgaden, Corso, er meget stejl og fører til Montepulcianos domkirke, der blev bygget i det 16. og 17. århundrede. Denne kirke huser et af mesterværkerne fra den sienske lærerskole: Maria Himmelfart af Taddeo di Bartolo. I kanten af byen står Tempio di Biagio, som er lavet i højrensance stil.
