I Luttenberg står en kopi af grotten ved den franske by Lourdes. Bygningen af grotten i Luttenberg skyldes præst Petrus Butzelaar. Denne præst besluttede, da pave Pius X i begyndelsen af dette århundrede afskaffede festdagen for sakramentet som katolsk helligdag, at holde traditionen i hævd med en procession gennem byen. For at give processionen mere pragt, blev Lourdesgrotten bygget langs vejen i 1915. Grottens væg blev bygget af net, sten og cement, med en niche til Maria-figuren med rosenkrans. Indtil 1962 fandt processionerne sted i Luttenberg med Lourdesgrotten som både bogstaveligt og figurativt højdepunkt ved slutningen af processionen!
