Elisabeth Stift er et tidligere kloster, grundlagt i 1877 af de tyske søstre fra Elisabethinerordenen. Efter at have fungeret som hospital (det første i Kerkrade) og børnehave, fokuserer 'Stiftet' i dag på pleje af seniorer. Denne omdannelse har fået stor opmærksomhed nationalt og betragtes som et eksempel for andre initiativer
