Slesien er en historisk region i Centraleuropa, der primært ligger inden for Polen, med små dele i Tjekkiet og Tyskland. Dens areal er cirka 40.000 km², og befolkningen anslås at være omkring 8.000.000. Slesien er opdelt i to hovedunderregioner, Nedre Slesien i vest og Øvre Slesien i øst. Slesien har en mangfoldig kultur, herunder arkitektur, kostumer, køkken, traditioner og det slesiske sprog.
