Das Konzentrationslager Linz I war ein Außenlager des Konzentrationslagers Mauthausen und bestand vom 11. Jänner 1943 bis zum 3. August 1944 in Linz bei den Reichswerken Hermann Göring. Insgesamt wurden über 1700 Häftlinge in das Lager eingewiesen. Über 120 Häftlinge des Lagers Linz I sind gestorben, der Großteil bei einem Luftangriff im Juli 1944. Die Gefangenen mussten aus Hochofenschlacke Baustoffe herstellen. Sie wurden außerdem beim Straßenbau und in den Stahlwerken eingesetzt.
