Leerbeek ist eine Teilgemeinde von Gooik, gelegen im Pajottenland, in der Provinz Vlaams-Brabant, Belgien. Leerbeek war eine selbständige Gemeinde bis zur Gemeindereform von 1977. In Leerbeek fand 1794 unter der Leitung von Pastor Philippus Winnepenninckx ein stevenistischer Aufstand gegen die französischen Napoleonisten und deren wachsende Anmaßungen gegenüber der Kirche statt. Auch die Pastoren der umliegenden Dörfer folgten seinem Beispiel. Genau an dem Ort, an dem der alte Pastor Winnepenninckx 1840 starb, errichteten seine Nachfolger 1918 zu seinem Gedenken eine neogotische Kapelle. Jeden Sonntag um 9 Uhr findet in dieser Kapelle noch ein Gottesdienst statt.
