Irchonwelz ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Hennegau und ein Stadtteil der wallonischen Stadt Aat. Irchonwelz war eine eigenständige Gemeinde, bis sie bei der Gemeindereform von 1977 der Gemeinde Aat hinzugefügt wurde. Die Stätte von Irchonwelz wurde seit Beginn des Neolithikums etwa 5000 v.Chr. von Bevölkerungsgruppen aus dem Donautal bewohnt. Bei Ausgrabungen im Denderbecken im Jahr 1978 wurde eine archäologische Fundstelle an dem Ort "Bonne Fortune" entdeckt. Auf Grundlage dieser Funde wurde ein typisches Haus rekonstruiert mit den Werkzeugen jener Zeit, das auf der Archeosite von Aubechies-Beloeil besucht werden kann.
