Im Dorf Laforêt, einem der schönsten Dörfer Walloniens, wird jedes Frühjahr eine Brücke aus Holzkorbgeflecht (claies) über die Semois errichtet. Die kleine Brücke wird im Herbst abgebaut.
Die Claies sind geflochtene Haselnussplatten, die auf Rundhölzer gelegt werden und den Fluss überspannen. So kann man zu Fuß von einem Ufer zum anderen gelangen.
Dies ist ein Erbe der Tabakpflanzer, die auf diese Weise ohne Umleitung zu den fruchtbaren Böden am Fluss gelangten.
Sie ist 80 Meter lang (der große und der kleine Teil) und besteht aus etwa 75 Horden. Die Brücke verbindet Vresse und Laforêt.
