Description

An der Ecke Paterstraße steht eine 1908 von Bauunternehmer J. De Backer errichtete Backsteinkapelle, die nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg ohne Türmchen wiederaufgebaut wurde. Ein neogotisches Gebäude mit rechteckigem Grundriss, mit drei Joche unter einem Satteldach (Ziegel, First senkrecht zur Straße). Giebelfassade mit Spitzbogenportal, im Oberlicht mit dem Text: "Langs dezen weg zet geen voet of zegt Maria Wees gegroet". Seitenwände mit drei Spitzbogenfensterchen. Innenraum mit polychromem Pietà und auf der Rückwand gemaltem Text: "O.L.Vrouw van zeven weeën B.V.O.".
