Die Rooienkapel liegt an der Ecke von der Rooienkapel und der Schoorstraße in Gierle. Die Kapelle ist Unserer Lieben Frau der Besuchung geweiht und befindet sich auf einem mit Eiche und Buche bewachsenen Platz. Ursprünglich war die Kapelle vollständig von einem Graben umgeben. Die rechteckige, aus Backstein erbaute Kapelle geht auf das Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts zurück. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde sie nach Westen hin erweitert. Über dem Zugang in der Westfassade befindet sich eine Nische mit einer Statue von Unserer Lieben Frau und Kind. Das schlicht verputzte und bemalte Innere besitzt ein Tonnengewölbe. Die Kapelle wurde 1986 renoviert. Im Jahr 2005 wurde die Kapelle als Monument geschützt.
