Der Name dieser Schleife bezieht sich auf den Spott der Einwohner von Balen, wo im 15. Jahrhundert wilde Dünen die Landschaft beherrschten. Die Einwohner von Balen schufteten monatelang, um den überschüssigen Sand abzutragen und das Gelände für den Bau ihrer Kirche vorzubereiten. Dies geschah auf traditionelle Art und Weise: mit Schubkarren. Diese Kruierroute führt Sie zu den schönsten Stellen in der Natur und zu markanten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Balen. Von malerischen Ecken in der Nähe von Mühlen oder Kanälen bis hin zu Publikumsmagneten wie dem Erholungs- und Naturpark Keiheuvel und dem Pakawi-Park.
