Eglisau ist eine Kleinstadt und politische Gemeinde im Bezirk Bülach des Kantons Zürich in der Schweiz.
Das Städtchen liegt am Nordufer des Rheins nahe der deutschen Grenze. Zu Eglisau gehören die Ortsteile Seglingen, Tössriederen und der Weiler Oberriet. Trotz nur etwas mehr als 5000 Einwohnern in der Gemeinde hat Eglisau das alte, im Mittelalter erworbene Stadtrecht beibehalten.
