Das Kongresshaus Zürich steht in Zürich am General-Guisan-Quai , am linken Zürichseeufer zwischen der Claridenstrasse und der Beethovenstrasse.
Der Bau umfasst auch die Herzstücke der 1893–1895 erbauten «neuen Tonhalle» , nämlich den grossen und den kleinen Tonhalle-Saal. Zum 1939 als Mantelbau erstellten Kongresshaus gehören weitere neun Räumlichkeiten für Tagungen und diverse Anlässe wie Konzerte oder Messen sowie drei Restaurants und zwei Bars.
