Gnarrenburg ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Rotenburg in Niedersachsen. Sie liegt am Oste-Hamme-Kanal zwischen Zeven, Bremervörde und Osterholz-Scharmbeck und hat rund 9180 Einwohner, wovon ungefähr 3100 auf den Hauptort Gnarrenburg entfallen.

Gnarrenburg ist Schwerpunktgemeinde des Fremdenverkehrs im Teufelsmoor. Der Ort hat einen Bahnhof an der überwiegend touristischen Zwecken dienenden Bahnstrecke Osterholz-Scharmbeck–Bremervörde, dem sogenannten Moorexpress. Das Gebiet wird vom Hamme-Oste-Kanal durchzogen, der die beiden Flüsse Hamme und Oste miteinander verbindet. Dieser diente früher der Torflieferung nach Bremen und Hamburg.
