Simmertal ist eine Ortsgemeinde im Landkreis Bad Kreuznach in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie gehört der Verbandsgemeinde Kirner Land an. Simmertal ist ein staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort. Bis 1971 trug die Gemeinde den Namen Simmern unter Dhaun.
Simmertal liegt nahe der Einmündung des Simmerbachs in die Nahe , südlich des Soonwalds zwischen Hochstetten-Dhaun im Westen und Martinstein im Osten. Südlich der Gemeinde erhebt sich – auf der anderen Seite der Nahe – das Saar-Nahe-Bergland.
