Mainhardt ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Württemberg. Die Gemeinde wurde im 11. Jahrhundert erstmals erwähnt und hat 6.017 Einwohner. Durch sie läuft der Obergermanisch-Raetische Limes, der seit 2005 auf der Welterbeliste der UNESCO steht. Der Ort trägt das Prädikat Luftkurort. Von Einheimischen wird der Ortsname [ˈmɔːɐt] ausgesprochen .
