Klein Möringen ist ein Ortsteil von Stendal im Bundesland Sachsen-Anhalt. Bis zum 31. Dezember 2009 gehörte Klein Möringen zur Gemeinde Möringen in der Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Stendal-Uchtetal.
Der Name „Morungen“ wurde 1201 das erste Mal in einer Urkunde erwähnt. Der Ort soll ursprünglich slawische Siedlung gewesen sein, später wird er als eine wüste Ortschaft genannt. In diesem Ort „Morungen“ soll auch eine Straße mit dem Namen „Nippo“ oder „Nippof“ gewesen sein, aus der Ort Klein Möringen entstanden sein soll.
