Die Hintergleiswände bestehen aus in Emaille gebrannten Aluminiumtafeln. Die zwei 120 Meter langen und 5 Meter hohen Hintergrundwände wurden von Eckard Hauser künstlerisch gestaltet und in einjähriger Arbeit auch von ihm hergestellt. Der Fahrgast erfährt eine heitere Landschaft des Voralpengebiets in den vier Jahreszeiten, die ihm beim Verlassen der Bahn erwartet.
Die Wände in der Mitte und um den Aufzug herum sind mit braunen Fliesen verkleidet. Der mit rotem Isarkiesel-Motiv ausgelegte Bahnsteig wird farbig beleuchtet, da an der Decke grüne, gelbe und blaue Aluminium-Lamellen zwischen den Lampen angebracht sind.
