Das Attentat von Volkhoven wurde am Morgen des 11. Juni 1964 an einer Volksschule im Kölner Stadtteil Volkhoven verübt. Der 42-jährige Frührentner Walter Seifert verletzte mit einem selbstgebauten Flammenwerfer und einer Lanze acht Kinder und zwei Lehrerinnen tödlich. Weiterhin erlitten 20 Kinder und zwei Lehrerinnen schwere Brandverletzungen. Der Täter beging anschließend durch die Einnahme des Pflanzenschutzmittels E605 Suizid.
