Die Hilden-Lintorfer Sandterrassen sind eine naturräumliche Einheit mit der Ordnungsnummer 550.1 und gehören zu der übergeordneten naturräumlichen Haupteinheit 550 .
Der Naturraum erstreckt sich als langer, aber schmaler Streifen am Westrand des benachbarten Rheinischen Schiefergebirges von dem südlichen Mülheim an der Ruhr im Norden bis zum nordöstlichen Leverkusen im Süden. Teile von Ratingen , der äußerste Osten von Düsseldorf, der Ortskern von Erkrath, der Osten von Hilden und Langenfeld und der äußerste Westen von Solingen und Leichlingen gehören ebenfalls zu dem Naturraum.
