Thelenberg ist ein Ortsteil der Ortsgemeinde Asbach im Landkreis Neuwied im nördlichen Rheinland-Pfalz. Der Ort ist landwirtschaftlich geprägt, entwickelt sich aber zunehmend zu einem Wohnort im Sinne einer Wohngemeinde.
Das Dorf liegt im Niederwesterwald südwestlich des Hauptortes Asbach auf einer Anhöhe oberhalb und östlich des Pfaffenbachs. Thelenberg ist nur über die Kreisstraße 41 zu erreichen, die den Ort mit der Landesstraße 255 verbindet. Zur Gemarkung von Thelenberg gehört auch die Thelenberger Mühle im Pfaffenbachtal. Sie ist vom Ort etwa 1 km entfernt.
