Unter der Talbrück Nuttlar, der höchsten Autobahnbrücke in NRW, hindurch führt der Weg am Ortsrand Nuttlars entlang. Vorbei an der Mariengrotte am Dümel geht es durch ein Wohngebiet und danach an ehemaligen Schieferhalden vorbei den Ochsenberg hinauf weiter. Hier steht eine Liegebank mit schönem Ausblick auf Nuttlar, das Ruhrtal und die Talbrücke Nuttlar. Von der "Kluse" wandern wir weiter bergauf entlang von Weihnachtsbaumplantagen bis zum Suhrenberg. Hier geht es durch einen Buchenwald und später teils steil bergab zum "Roh", von wo es dann wieder zum Augangspunkt an der SGV Hütte Nuttlar (Wanderparkplatz "Am Evenkopf") geht.
