Piedralaves ist eine spanische Gemeinde und Stadt in der Provinz Ávila,[1] in der autonomen Gemeinschaft Kastilien und León. Sie liegt in der Region des Tiétar-Tals und hat eine Bevölkerung von 2136 Einwohnern. Der Name wurde erstmals im Buch der Montería von Alfons XI. in der Form Pie de Labas dokumentiert.[2] In den Jahrhunderten XV und XVI wurden auch die Übergangsformen Piedelaves/Piedelabes und Piedalabes dokumentiert.[3]
