"SANT MARTI EMPURIES" ist ein wunderschönes mittelalterliches Dorf, das zur Gemeinde von Escala gehört und sich direkt am Meer befindet, das nur etwa 500 m von den berühmten griechisch-römischen Ruinen von Empúries entfernt ist. Diese idyllische Stadt hat eine lange Geschichte, die bis ins 6. Jahrhundert v. Chr. zurückreicht, als die Griechen in diese Gegend siedelten. Zwischen dem 8. und 11.
