Morez ist eine ehemalige Stadt und eine Commune déléguée in der französischen Gemeinde Hauts de Bienne mit 4.781 Einwohnern im Département Jura in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Morez liegt auf 702 m, etwa 20 km nordöstlich der Stadt Saint-Claude und 40 km nördlich von Genf . Die Kleinstadt erstreckt sich im Hochjura, in einem tief in die Juraketten eingeschnittenen Quertal, beidseits des Oberlaufs der Bienne, zwischen den Höhen von Bois de Bevet im Westen und Risoux im Osten.
