Blaye ist eine französische Stadt mit 4838 Einwohnern im Département Gironde in der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Die Stadt ist Sitz der Unterpräfektur des Arrondissements Blaye, dieses besteht aus vier Kantonen, sie ist Hauptort des Kantons L’Estuaire.Blaye liegt am östlichen Ufer des Ästuars Gironde, das nahe Bordeaux durch den Zusammenfluss von Dordogne und Garonne entsteht. Durch das Stadtgebiet fließt weitgehend kanalisiert das kleine Flüsschen Saugeron, das auf eine Länge von 200 Metern einen Hafen bildet, bevor es in die Gironde mündet.
