Der Regionale Naturpark Ardennen liegt in der französischen Region Grand Est, im Département Ardennes und grenzt im Norden und Osten des Gebietes an Belgien.Die Gründung des Naturparks erfolgte am 21. Dezember 2011. Der Park umfasst aktuell eine Fläche von rund 117.200 Hektar. Die Parkverwaltung mit dem „Maison du Parc“ hat ihren Sitz im Ort Renwez . 92 Gemeinden mit einem Einzugsgebiet von etwa 76.000 Bewohnern bilden den Park. Die außerhalb des Parks gelegene Gemeinde Charleville-Mézières ist als "Zugangsort" mit dem Naturpark assoziiert.
