Sandford-on-Thames, auch einfach Sandford genannt, ist ein Dorf und eine Gemeindeverwaltung neben dem Fluss Thames in Oxfordshire, nur südlich von Oxford. Das Dorf liegt westlich der A4074-Straße zwischen Oxford und Henley.
Im Jahr 1086 zählte das Domesday Book 18 Familien, die am sandigen Furt über die Themse zwischen Iffley und Radley lebten. Sechshundert Jahre später hatte sich die Bevölkerung des Dorfes kaum verdoppelt, und zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts lebten dort immer noch unter 200 Menschen. Heute zählt die Bevölkerung mehr als 1.000 und die Gemeindeflächen wurden erheblich überarbeitet.
