Ben Nevis ist 1344 m hoch und der höchste Berg im Vereinigten Königreich. Auf Gälisch wird der Berg Beinn Nibheis oder "der schreckliche Berg" genannt. Der Koloss liegt in der Nähe von Fort William. Im Sommer ist Ben Nevis eine echte Attraktion. Tausende von Menschen wollen den Gipfel erreichen. Aber sei vorsichtig! Das Wetter kann sich plötzlich ändern. Es ist immer kühl und windig. Der Bergrettungsdienst muss regelmäßig Wanderer abholen.
