Prato allo Stelvio (915 m; 3000 Einw.) hat sich durch seine günstige Lage am Eingang zum breiten bewaldeten Tal der Solda (einem rechten Nebenfluss der Etsch) zu einem Ferienort entwickelt, wodurch das alte Dorfbild nahezu verloren gegangen ist. Sehenswert ist die St. Johannskirche aus dem 13. Jahrhundert mit einer charakteristischen runden Apsis im romanischen Stil. Das Innere verfügt über Fresken aus etwa 1400.
