Der Vernagt-Stausee im Schnalstal in Südtirol wird vom Schnalser Bach gespeist. Der Stausee liegt auf 1689 m Höhe in der Gemeinde Schnals und hat eine Fläche von ca. 100 ha.
Der Stausee entstand in den 1950er/1960er Jahren. Errichtet wurde eine 65 Meter hohe Staumauer. Im Stausee versanken acht Höfe der sich heute am Ufer befindenden Ortschaft Vernagt. Die Turmspitze des „Leiter-Kirchleins“ ragt im Frühjahr bei niedrigem Wasserstand aus dem See. 2001 wurde die Staumauer einer Revision unterzogen. Der See ist die Wasserfassung für das Wasserkraftwerk Naturns. Oberhalb des Stausees liegen die schon im Mittelalter urkundlich genannten Bergbauernhöfe Tisenhof und Finailhof.
