Die Grande Strada ist die Passstraße der Dolomiten, des Gebirges mit seinen vertikalen Höhen von manchmal fast weißem Dolomitgestein. Die Route führt durch drei italienische Provinzen (Südtirol, Trentino und Belluno) und es werden drei Sprachen gesprochen (Italienisch, Deutsch und Ladinisch). Auf wenigen Passstraßen ist das Fahren angenehmer als hier, zwischen Bozen und Dobbiaco.
