In einem der schönsten Herrenhäuser der Calle Francisco Sosa, das durch die Ajaraques gekennzeichnet ist und an den Mudéjar-Stil des Südens Spaniens erinnert, befindet sich seit kurzem der Sitz der Nationalen Fonothek, die verantwortlich ist für das Sammeln, Retten, Bewahren und Bekanntmachen des Klangerbes des Landes. In ihren Archiven finden sich politische Reden, die ersten Aufnahmen der Nationalhymne und vieles mehr, bis hin zu Aufnahmen der verschiedenen natürlichen und kulturellen Klänge der verschiedenen Bundesstaaten des Landes. Die Institution organisiert auch interessante Workshops, von Erzählungen über Musikinstrumente bis hin zu Recitals.
