Velp ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Land van Cuijk in der niederländischen Provinz Noord-Brabant, das aus zwei Teilen besteht: Oud-Velp im Norden und Nieuw-Velp im Süden. Oud-Velp liegt an der Hertogswetering und in der Nähe der Uferbereiche der Maas. Am 1. Januar 2021 hatte Velp 1.535 Einwohner. Velp ist auch eine ehemalige Gemeinde in Noord-Brabant, die seit 1810 bestand und eine Fläche von 744 ha hatte. 1938 musste Velp einen kleinen Teil an Grave abtreten, da auf diesem Gelände die Generaal de Bonskazerne erbaut wurde. 1942 wurde diese Gemeinde mit der Gemeinde Grave vereint.
