Nach dem Wallonischen Wasser wird der Name Alte IJsselweg. Auf der linken Seite steht ein verfallenes Tagesmietshaus. In 'Rond Berghse boerderijen en het boerenbestaan' (1990) ist ein Foto abgebildet, auf dem zu sehen ist, dass das Dach damals schon stark beschädigt war. Nach einigen heftigen Stürmen hat sich der Zustand noch weiter verschlechtert, sehr zum Ärger der Liebhaber. Die Gemeinde Alte IJsselstreek würde auch gerne anders handeln, ist aber machtlos.
