Die Steenstraat in Arnhem ist eine Einkaufsstraße zwischen dem Zentrum und dem Bahnhof Arnhem Velperpoort. Der Name stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, als dieser Teil der Straße nach Velp als einzige gepflasterte Straße gilt. In der Straße steht die neogotische Sint-Martinuskerk, ein frühes Werk des Architekten Alfred Tepe. Das im Zweiten Weltkrieg zerstörte Rembrandt-Theater, das dort war, wo jetzt Kruidvat und Foto-Video Smits sind, wurde nach 1954 in ein neues Gebäude am Velperplein verlegt. 2011 wurde das Straßenprofil der Steenstraat zum letzten Mal gründlich verändert und der Trolleybus verschwand aus dem Straßenbild.
