Harselaar ist ein Dorf in der niederländischen Gemeinde Barneveld und liegt zwischen Barneveld und Voorthuizen.
Der Name Harselaar taucht bereits im 14. Jahrhundert als Hersler auf und weist möglicherweise auf eine Laar mit Hers oder Hers hin. Zunächst bezog es sich auf ein weiter westlich gelegenes Weiler, zwischen dem heutigen Dorf und Terschuur. In diesem Gebiet lag auch ein Herrenhaus Klein Harselaar, das 1600 erwähnt wurde.
