Der Eygenhof
Der Eygenhof befand sich auf dem heutigen Schlossgelände, wo sich jetzt der westliche Flügel des Hofes befindet. Kopf des Eygenhofs waren die Eygenoten (die Laatschepenen) der Hof Daelhem. Das Oberhaupt wurde vom Souveränen Rat von Brabant in Brüssel gebildet. Im Jahr 1410 war der Eygenhof Eigentum von Reinson von Libeek. Dieser erhielt damals ein Dokument des adligen Klosters in Sinnich wegen der Laathof in Mheer. 1487 kamen die Libeeker Güter in Mheer an Jan von Imstenrade, den Schwiegersohn von Reinson von Libeek. Diese Leihe wird von A. de Ryckel bei den Daelhemser Lehenserhebungen erwähnt. Dieser Laathof blieb im Besitz der Familie von Imstenrade.
