Im Auftrag der Stiftung Kriegerdenkmal Zuidzande, einer Initiative von Cornélie van de Reepe.
Enthüllt am 5. November 2004 von J. Suurmond, Abgeordneter der Provinz Zeeland. Das Denkmal wurde von der öffentlichen Grundschule im Dorf adoptiert, um so die Erinnerung an den Zweiten Weltkrieg lebendig zu halten.
