Die Korenmühle De Hoop in Maassluis ist eine Windmühle, die 1690 erbaut wurde, wie aus einer Urkunde hervorgeht. Angesichts der Form und des Materials der Steinen Mühle wird dieses Jahr zusätzlich bestätigt. Ein hölzerner Vorgänger wurde 1620 an dieser Stelle errichtet.
Es ist eine runde Steinemühle, deren Kapuze mit Dachleder bedeckt ist. Die Flügel haben eine Spannweite von 26,30 Metern und besitzen die alt-holländische Form. Der landschaftliche Wert dieser Mühle ist sehr hoch.
